Privacy policy

Shotivo processes your photos and videos locally. The app does not transmit them to us or collect analytics. It has no accounts, ads, or payments.

Media and local processing

You choose any photos, videos, and optional backgrounds yourself. Shotivo processes them on your device to create mockups. The app does not upload them to a Shotivo service.

Shotivo does not intentionally save your chosen source media in its own persistent storage. The operating system and the image-picker or sharing components may create temporary files or caches, including local MP4 exports; their retention is controlled by your device and those components.

Saved styles

If you save a reusable style, Shotivo stores its name and style settings on your device until you delete it in Styles or remove the app data. Saved styles do not include a photo background. Your editing batch and photo background are not saved as a project.

Optional Unsplash backgrounds

When you open the Unsplash library or search, your search terms and page requests pass through our Cloudflare service to Unsplash. Selecting a background sends its photo identifier to Unsplash to credit its download. Background images load directly from Unsplash. Cloudflare and Unsplash receive connection information such as IP addresses and request details to deliver and protect these services. We do not send your own photos or videos to either service.

Search results may be cached for up to one hour. Shotivo does not enable Worker request logs or app analytics. Your starred backgrounds are saved only on your device, including photo identifiers, image links, and photographer credits. Remove them by un-starring them or clearing app data. These are local favourites, not likes on an Unsplash account.

Photos and exports

Shotivo asks for photo-library access only when you select photos or videos or choose to save an export to your library. It saves PNG and MP4 exports to Photos only after you choose that action. Your device’s photo-library settings, backups, and sharing settings are handled by your operating system and its policies.

Sharing

When you choose Share, Shotivo opens the operating system share sheet and passes the exported image only to the app or recipient you select. That recipient app’s privacy policy applies to what it does with the shared image.

Your controls

You can remove a screenshot from the editing batch, delete a saved style in Styles, and manage photo access in device Settings. Delete exports in Photos or your gallery. Removing Shotivo does not delete original images, exports, device backups, or copies sent to other apps. Your operating system controls app-data backups and restoration.

This website

This website is hosted by Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes connection information, such as IP addresses and request details, to deliver and protect the website. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy. Shotivo does not add analytics or advertising scripts to these pages.

Changes to this policy

If Shotivo’s data practices change, this policy will be updated before the related feature is released.
